Re: 2012-2013  Chancellor’s Sustainability Internship Program

We are pleased to announce the Chancellor’s Sustainability Internship (CSI) Program call for proposals. The CSIs are capstone programs available to undergraduate students who seek to advance sustainability goals on campus or in the local community. The program goals are to:

1) Encourage undergraduate initiatives for campus and community-level sustainability projects;

2) Offer students in all academic disciplines an opportunity to actuate and apply their education in sustainability and gain practical experience; and

3) Facilitate partnerships between faculty, staff, students, and the community.

Several student and/or student teams will be awarded each year; half for proposals that facilitate implementation of the Campus Sustainability Plan and half for proposals that facilitate sustainability goals in the local community.

Please visit the program website:

for additional details and instructions for applying. Phase one proposals are due September 17th, 2012.

We would like to thank the William E. Weiss Foundation for their sponsorship of this program.
