CCBER has made considerable efforts to decrease its transportation carbon emissions through several measures. 80% of occupants who participated in the PACES assessment commute to work using alternative transportation, and 60% of occupants bike to work. The department has flexwork agreements in place with some staff members, and occupants carpool to different work related events together.

• Participate in the Commute Challenge ( In order to encourage the remaining occupants

to use alternative transportation, CCBER should enter the Commute Challenge, an interactive competition to get more people taking alternative

transportation. Additionally, the Commute Challenge partners staff who are already committed to alternative transportation with those who are

new to it, which builds on the strength of the advocates in the college.
