stewardship

The Coastal Stewardship and Policy Program was created in April 2011. The program is housed in the Geography Department in Ellison Hall and operates with a grant-based budget, sponsored by the Coastal Fund. The program is advised by Katie Maynard, the Research and Education Coordinator for Campus Sustainability, and managed by Katie Kasatkina.

We are currently partnering with the Environmental Defense Center and the Isla Vista Parks and Recreation District. A brief overview of current projects and the summer internship application is now available. This summer, we will be working with the California Water Impact Network. If you are interested in learning more, partnering with the program, or interning with us, please contact us or fill out an application.
