- Introduction Interview: (30 minutes -1 hour with Team President/Captain)
- Overview of the program and the steps involved. The interview will consist of questions geared towards learning more about the team's policies and protocols.
- Data Collection: PACES will collect measurable data related to the aforementioned categories. Our methods include:
- Team Member Survey: (5 -10 minutes) We will send out an electronic survey to the entire team to fill out at their own convenience. The survey evaluates attitudes, behaviors, and understanding of current sustainable practices of the team.
- Optional Walk-Through: (up to 1 hour) We will walk through either a practice or game to observe the practices in place, evaluating the criteria indicated in the PACES Scorecard.
- Presentation: (Optional 30 minutes - 1 hour)
- Once data is compiled and summarized, PACES will offer a brief presentation of our findings and recommendations for the team. During the presentation, we will solicit feedback on goals and initiatives that the members would like the team to commit to.
- Climate and Sustainability Action Plan
- PACES will draft a sustainability and climate action plan to help the team reduce its environmental impact. Goals and priorities brainstormed in the presentation will be included. The plan will provide recommendations and resources to improve sustainability.
