Angela Bravo

Hi my name is Angie and I am transfer student from L.A. I am sociology major. I am so grateful and ecstatic to be working with an amazing team in helping students stabilize their basic needs while going to school. As someone who had experience with food and housing insecurity with no financial support. UCSB community has been a savior since my transition here from L.A. and made schooling a lot easier having an organization with advocates to help you out. Now as a Basic Needs Advisor and Calfresh Advocate myself, I emphasize the importance of all the resources here and how helpful they are to students. My goal is to make sure that all students to know that no matter what, UCSB has your back. I understand the feeling of being alone and not having a clue on where to go or who to ask.
