Draft Climate Action Plan
The 2025 Draft Climate Action Plan assesses and analyzes UCSB’s current, historical, and projected emissions and evaluates the campus’s progress toward meeting the UC Climate Policy. Planned and conceptual climate change mitigation strategies are outlined in the plan and provide a potential pathway towards achieving the 90% reduction in total emissions (Scopes 1, 2, and 3 shown in the figure) by calendar year 2045 from a 2019 baseline.

Resilience Summary Report
The primary focus of UC Santa Barbara’s multi-year climate resilience planning initiative was to lay the foundation for a proactive long-term plan by assessing climate-related impacts and vulnerabilities to inform resilience-building strategies, the process also sparked early action through cross-organizational collaboration, stakeholder engagement, and enhanced understanding of key priorities.

Business Travel Assessment and Guide
The UCSB Voluntary Business Travel Assessment and Guide can be used to assist the department Manager/Supervisor in determining the most sustainable way for an employee to attend a meeting or conference. It also includes information on the impact of business travel and sustainable transportation, accommodation, and dining options specific to the Santa Barbara area.
